Do I Need Travel Insurance for Canada?

How Much is Travel Insurance to Canada?

Does Travel Insurance for Canada cover work abroad?

Yes, travel insurance offered by Multitrip.com does cover manual work, such as bar and restaurant work, amateur musicians and singers, chalet maids, au pair/nanny, retail work, fruit picking and occasional light manual work at ground level but excluding the use of power tools or machinery. Non manual work is also covered as long it is professional administrative or clerical duties only.

Can I extend my travel insurance during my trip?

In case of Multitrip and Single Trip policies, it will depend on your age and cover level you choose. If you have a Backpacker cover and intend on staying overseas past your policy expiry date you will need to contact us by email/telephone at least 2 weeks before your policy is due to lapse. We can, in some cases, extend cover for a maximum total trip duration of 24 months. Each individual’s circumstances will be considered by the Underwriter, who will authorise the extension.
