What is Single Trip Travel Insurance?
Single Trip Travel Insurance covers you on a once-off trip for the selected dates of travel only. Cover can be provided for a maximum trip duration of 366 days as long as the trip starts and ends in Ireland. It's available to travellers up to 79 years old, but the max trip duration is reduced to 35 days for persons aged 70 years or over. Families & groups can insure up to 10 people at one time. Bear in mind that if you know you'll be taking many trips along the year, Multitrip Travel Insurance could be a more cost-efficient option.
What does Single Trip Insurance Cover?
Single Trip Travel Insurance covers standard travel insurance items, from baggage to emergency medical expenses, plus it automatically provides cover for Sports & Activities listed in Grade 1, such as cycling and hiking. We offer three cover levels to best suit your needs, remembering that Premier Plus includes Winter Sports and Excess Waiver Cover as standard (age limit applies for Winter Sports).

Optional Cover for Single Trip Travel Insurance
You can include one or more Optional Cover on your Single Trip Travel Insurance for peace of mind while abroad. Depending on the cover level selected choose among Winter Sports, Travel Disruption Cover, Flight Cancellation, Wedding, Business, Golf Equipment, Cruise Connection and Excess Waiver. The Premier Plus cover level automatically includes both Winter Sports and Excess Waiver as part of its cover (age limit applies for Winter Sports).
