Covid-19 Benefits:
Medical expenses if you are diagnosed with Covid-19 abroad. Additional Travel or Accommodation Expenses abroad if you need to extend your stay due to a Covid-19 diagnosis. Cancellation cover if you are medically diagnosed with Covid-19 or personally instructed to isolate by the NHS (National Health Service) or a medical professional. Cancellation cover if your travelling companions are medically diagnosed with Covid-19 or personally instructed to isolate by the NHS or a medical professional. Cancellation cover if your close relatives are medically diagnosed with Covid-19 or personally instructed to isolate by the NHS or a medical professional.
No Cover for cancellation due to government travel restrictions or lockdown.Important Information for Covid-19 and your Travel Insurance
Please check the latest travel advice from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
You will not be covered to travel to a country or specific area or event to which FCDO has advised against all or all but essential travel. The FCDO currently advise against all but essential travel. If you're planning a non-essential trip, and this advice doesn't change by your departure date, you will not be covered if you go abroad.
If you are able to travel, either because the FCDO advice changes to allow it or because your trip is already legally permitted under the rules, you will be covered for:
- Medical expenses if you need treatment for Covid-19 while abroad.
- Cancelling or curtailment of your trip if you, close relative or travelling companion has been medically diagnosed with Covid-19 or is personally instructed to quarantinne by the NHS or a healthcare professional.
Please note that there is no cover for any other Covid-19 related claims, including lockdowns, quarantines, or other government restrictions. All other terms and conditions of the policy apply.

Multitrip.com travel insurance cover is in place under the Cancellation or Curtailment section if an insured customer is diagnosed with Covid-19, or being personally instructed to self-isolate by the NHS test and trace service, or being compulsorily quarantined on the order of your/their Medical Professional due to Covid-19.
Please note that we will not cover Covid-19 related claims where you have travelled to an area that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all or all but essential travel. All customers and partners should refer to the Travel Advised section on the FCDO's website prior to purchasing a policy and/or departure to ensure the policy provides the required cover for their trip

Multitrip.com travel insurance cover is in place for an insured customer if a defined Close Relative is admitted to hospital with a Covid-19 diagnosis at the time of the start of their trip if it is certified by a Medical Practitioner and follows a medically approved test showing a positive result for Covid-19.
Please note that we will not cover Covid-19 related claims where you have travelled to an area that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all or all but essential travel. Multitrip.com travel insurance cover is in place for any insured customer who is diagnosed with Covid-19 abroad under the Emergency Medical & Other Expenses cover section, provided the insured customer is not in breach of the general exclusion about travelling against the advice of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
Please note that we will not cover Covid-19 related claims where you have travelled to an area that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all or all but essential travel. All customers and partners should refer to the Travel Advised section on the FCDO's website prior to purchasing a policy and/or departure to ensure the policy provides the required cover for their trip

Multitrip.com travel insurance cover is in place for any insured customer who needs to be repatriated to the UK if they are diagnosed with Covid-19 abroad. This cover is applicable under the Emergency Medical & Other Expenses cover section, provided the insured customer is not in breach of the general exclusion about travelling against the advice of the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
Please note that we will not cover Covid-19 related claims where you have travelled to an area that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all or all but essential travel. Multitrip.com travel insurance policies provide cover for emergency medical and other expenses incurred abroad if you catch Covid-19 subject to the policy terms, limits, conditions and exclusions. In the event of a positive diagnosis of Covid-19 abroad, the policy will cover reasonable additional transport (economy class) or accommodation expenses incurred up to the standard of your original booking if you must extend your stay up to the amount of £2,000.
Please note that we will not cover Covid-19 related claims where you have travelled to an area that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has advised against all or all but essential travel. All customers and partners should refer to the Travel Advised section on the FCDO's website prior to purchasing a policy and/or departure to ensure the policy provides the required cover for their trip

Multitrip.com travel insurance policies include cover for your irrecoverable unused pre-paid charges (including sports, concert and entertainment tickets), which you have paid or are contracted to pay, only if you receive a Covid-19 diagnosis, or being compulsorily quarantined on the orders of the treating Medical Practitioner and need to cancel your trip prior to departure.

Multitrip.com travel insurance policies include cover for Curtailment in the event your close relative or close business associate is admitted to hospital with a Covid-19 diagnosis at the time of the trip and/or death of your close relative of close business associate due to Covid-19 at the time of the trip.
A special condition of this cover is that the insured customer must contact our Emergency Assistance Service whilst away to seek approval before returning home.

Multitrip.com insurance policies will continue to cover you up to the limits on your policy until you return home, even if FCDO lists the country as red while you are abroad.
